Last updated: October 1, 2026

Annika Ek International Inc. (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through www.AnnikaEk.com (the “Website”), how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to information collected on the Website, through our forms, and in emails and other electronic messages between you and us. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Where it applies, we also respect the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By using the Website or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or provide your information.

Privacy contact. Annika Ek is responsible for how we handle personal information. You can reach her at hello@annikaek.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. We collect what you choose to provide, for example when you:

  • complete a form, survey or assessment to receive results or resources
  • sign up for our newsletter, a free resource, a webinar or an event
  • book a session, join our online community or buy a product or service
  • contact us by email or through a form, or leave a comment

This may include your name, email address, and any details you share in messages or forms. When you buy something, payment is handled by our payment processor; we do not see or store your full card number.

Forms, surveys and assessments. When you complete a form, survey or assessment on the Website, we record your answers and any result. If you provide your email, these are saved with your contact details so we can send you your results and related content.

Client services. If you become a client, the information we collect for those services is covered by separate consent forms and agreements.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, we and our analytics and advertising partners may collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay and the site that referred you. We use this to understand how the Website is used and to improve it.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • deliver what you asked for, such as a free resource, your results or a purchase
  • send emails you have agreed to receive
  • provide client sessions, programs and community access
  • answer your questions and provide customer service
  • understand how the Website is used and improve our content and services
  • show you relevant advertising on social media (see Cookies and pixels)
  • meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Email and your consent

We send email updates and offers from Annika Ek Evolutionary Nutrition™ to people who have given their consent, for example when signing up through one of our forms. These emails are sent through Flodesk.

Our emails may include links to Moon & Molecule, our newsletter published on Substack, which is also home to our online community. Signing up for our emails does not subscribe you to Substack. If you choose to subscribe or join the community there yourself, Substack manages your subscription under its own privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe or change your settings directly in Substack.

Every email we send says who it is from, gives our contact details and includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time, and the link takes effect immediately. If you have trouble unsubscribing, email hello@annikaek.com and we will remove you within 10 business days, as CASL requires.

Cookies, analytics and pixels

Like most websites, we use cookies (small text files stored by your browser) and similar technologies. We use, or may use:

  • Analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to measure visits and understand how the Website is used
  • The Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure the results of our ads and show relevant ads to people who have visited the Website
  • Embedded content, such as videos and forms from our email provider, which may set their own cookies

These third parties may collect information about your activity across different websites over time. We do not control their technologies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings. Some parts of the Website may not work properly without cookies.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers who help us run our business and must protect your information. These include providers of email marketing, website hosting, online community and course platforms, client management, booking and scheduling, payment processing, analytics and advertising.
  • Commission partners, only if you choose to take part in a third-party offer we recommend. In that case the partner receives the information needed to provide it.
  • Legal reasons, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, for example with a lawyer or collection agency to enforce an agreement.
  • Business transfers, to a successor if our business or its assets are sold, merged or reorganised.

Storage outside Canada

Some of our service providers store and process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States. While it is there, it may be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under the laws of that country. We choose providers with strong security practices.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including secure (SSL) connections on the Website, password-protected accounts and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information, such as health details, by regular email.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law (for example tax records). Email subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Inactive subscribers may be removed from our list periodically.

Your rights and choices

You can:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time by unsubscribing
  • ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law
  • make a complaint to us, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you are not satisfied with our response

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email hello@annikaek.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.

Children

The Website is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will let subscribers know by email.
